Due to new features and updation in thesis 1.7 theme by developers, CommentLuv was not showing the little lovely heart icon and its formatting. CommentLuv have released updated version of their plugin which is compatible with WordPress 3.0 RC version. They also tweaked their plugin to address the formatting issue in thesis theme.

For thesis users specially, this new version of CommentLuv was most desired update. All these formatting problems are solved now and we have again little lovely heart to spread the comment love. Download the latest version of plugin to update your plugin database and spread comment love.

For sure Andy have done a great job with this latest version, I was glad to be the first who install it while chatting with Andy about Thesis, and he fixed the problem in a few hours and emailed me the plugin to test it!

It’s pretty cool to bring Thesis Theme back to life again on our CommentLuv blogs, or should I say Bring CommentLuv back to life on our Thesis Theme again ;)

I was observing the CommentLuv formatting behavior on your blog yesterday. So you are the first person who tested the plugin, you are very sharp, i must admit it. Yes now our blogs look beautiful and CommentLuv is working in great way.
(I thought, i am the first person who broke this news :( )
Plus Say thanx to Andy from my side.

Ileane, thank you very much for appreciation. Changes in Thesis 1.7 prevented CommentLuv to take styling from script which is now solved after next release of CommentLuv plugin. in future, if i have any problem, i will talk to Andy.

Just wait until Thesis 1.8! Beta 4 has some great features and I’m sure it cannot wait until the love of CommentLuv is spreading.

Comment luv rocks. I couldn’t get it to work, but your post reminded me of it and it was a checkbox next to ‘manual template insertion’ that shouldn’t have been ticked.

Love it, cheers!

Anthony.

I can honestly say I’d never heard of commentluv before now. This seems like an excellent tool to use, and something I’ve been looking for without knowing it.

Hi, I have just discovered commentluv (late to the scene by the looks of it :) )
I am having an issue though, for some reason commentluv won’t recognise the feed on my wordpress blog. Anyone else had this issue. I have to use feedage to make my own as a work around which I don’t really want to do. If someone else has had this issue please reply on how they got around this.

I’ll likely comment on every blog that has CommentLuv enabled and the blog will likely end up in my bookmarks as well :) .
