We have started a series of posts to let our readers know how to maximize their earning from Google Adsense. In our previous post, we have covered tricks to blend the ads in sites’ content to maximize the clicks. In this part of post, we will cover the optimal placement of ads within content.
Placing The Ads Above The Fold:-
This is the basic rule for any monetizing program to keep the ads above the fold. How this is important? Have you noticed your sites’ bounce rate? Bounce rate means that visitor is not interested in second page of your site and this assumption also yields that he didn’t scrolled down the page, where they landed. So if the content is not interesting to them, your ads may attract their attraction, otherwise you are losing all possible clicks from your bounced visitors. So keep the ads at such place where visitors can reach and see without scrolling.
Proper Placement of Ad:-
Do you observe that most of Google ads are placed just after the title of article? Because title of post is in H3 or H1 format which is considered most effective and prominent area for advertisement. Placement of ad at that location also increases CTR.
Place in Keyword Rich Area:-
Google Ads are delivered, according to text where it is placed. So place your Google ads where your text has more keywords.
Use Highly Paying Keywords:-
Various free tools are available on net which show you the highly paying keywords. Use them in your content where you want to place your article. Few clicks on these ads will yield high earning.
Avoid Placement in Footer:-
Never place your ads in the footer. If you have placed your ad in footer, you are surely lowering the CTR rate. You will lose clicks from your bounced visitors. So take benefit from your bounced visitors and place the ads at some prominent area of blog. If any of your ad is in footer area or in area which is not prominent, my advice is to remove them to improve your CTR.
Put Some Content Between Two Ads:-
If you are placing more than one ad in your site, place some content between them. So that different text will show different ads and might attract the attention of visitor.

I really needed this tips, especially putting adsense beside important keywords.
By the way dont you use google adsense? i don’t see in this post!.

Try to put Google adsense in paragraph where you have used many keywords so that every visitor has rich ad content.
As far as gogole ads are concerned in my this blog, i am using in few posts.
I am running extensive google adsense on my other blog. which have great CTR.
What i have noticed that, in my niche, people seek information and they don’t clicks ads frequently. So selection of Niche for a blog in crucial.
Another interesting post. I’ll have to take these tips into consideration and see if they can boost my CTR.
