Text ads:-

If you have tech blog or providing information to masses, which consists of articles having rich keywords, use text ads within content. Text ads are very effective with in content as Google deliver the ads according to keywords in text. Look for high paying keywords and use them in your content.

Image ads:-

Image ads are highly paying ads as compared to text ads. They easily grab the attention of visitors. Sites like designing and graphics solution are best fit for image ads. But you should take care of your blog design. Select some light colour for your site background as grey or white colour are best for blending the all type of ads. If your site background is of dark colour, image ads will badly affect the site layout, which will create noise and you will receive fewer clicks.

Video ads:-

Video ads are more advance form of ads delivered by Google. Video ads provide best results as compared to text ads or image ads. You can place them with in content or at sidebar.

Thanks Mark for your valuable arguments. I am trying different advertising networks to make maximum from my blog. But i am not using more than two ad networks at a time to keep CTR at reasonable level.
