You have probably heard about OLPC “One Laptop Per Child” a US based non-profit organization. Their mission is to provide cheap educational device for children in developing countries. Previously they were on project of providing laptop “OLPC XO-1” that has cost of 100$ only. Up till now 1,374,500 laptops have been ordered by developing countries with Peru on the top.
Well, every laptop needs power to power on and get battery recharged. What if some country is lacking basic infrastructure and electricity is major issue.
OLPC comes here in with innovative idea of peddle powered laptop. They have introduced a laptop for Afghanistans’ children with power solution provided from pedal. Watch and see video.
